How To Be A Successful Aussie Rules Player!!

Listen closely this it what it takes to be a successful Aussie Rules Player. First of all you need to be fit! Secondly you need to be a good sport who knows how to collaborate well with others. Last but not least you need to know the basics like how to hand pass the ball as well as knowing how to drop punt a ball your probly feeling really confused right now so lets go over the basics.

When passing the ball you abosoulutly need to hand pass if it is not that way then it will be the other teams ball. For your team to score a point you need to run and bounce the ball at the same time then when close to goal as possible kick the ball threw the posts and the ref will decide if it was a goal or not. If it is not a goal then hard luck just try again until you succeed it thats how you be a great Aussie Rules Player.

The Tour Like No Other

In 1981 the springboks tour of NZ was like no other. The protesters were determined to stop South Africa from having the tour. But then I found out that South Africa was invited to New Zealand by the government for the tour and I was surprised. Rugby fans all over New Zealand filled stadiums with people cheering for the team. Both countries were all passionate about rugby and had many memorable matches between these two countries. New Zealand said that if the Springboks continued the tour then they were agreeing with apartheid, which means apartness. New Zealand's Prime Minster back then was Robert Muldoon and he strongly believed that politics should stay well away from sport and thousands of other kiwis agreed as well.

In My weekend

In the weekend there were a lot of emotional days because there were a lot of sad stuff. For example your grandparents leaving to different countries and singing happy birthday to your cousin who is also leaving to different country. I felt really stink because they had to go and they are sadly missed by everyone and I really wanted to go and soon they are going to be staying overseas permanently

That's why I am always trying my best to spend as much time as possible but now that they are gone it wastes my time that I'm trying to spend with them. I love my grandparents and they will be missed.

Rugby World Cup Opening

It was an incredible event as it was hosted by our home country New Zealand. All tourists around New Zealand we all gathering together for this event as the rugby world cup was about to start. It was a great honour for New Zealand to host it. A legendary Rugby player arrived at the world cup as a guest of honour to act a part in the opening ceremony his name was Jonah Lomu. It was amazing how the graphics were high quality and how they were standing out threw out the whole ceremony I was really impressed, since New Zealand has never hosted the rugby world cup in a very long time. It was really a pleasure to host it because it gives the All Blacks a good chance of winning considering all the fans are cheering for them.

My favourite part during the ceremony was watching the boy dream and really having the thought of what he wanted to be when he grows up.I loved watching the ceremony because it was so eye catching for us kids while watching it. People all around the world watched this ceremony that was held in our country New Zealand. As I was growing up I thought if you took part in the world cup you are dumb but as I grew older I started to realise that it is all to representing not only us but god as well.

I loved the ceremony so for people who watched it and helped organise it thank you for making a huge eye catching ceremony we loved it and Go The All Blacks!!!!

Astronauts

The word astronaut came from the two latin sailor words that mean star and sailor. Astronauts are sailors among the stars as they travel through space, it is almost like travelling on a boat but different. They are explorers of outer space. I always thought that their job was easy. As I was growing up I thought that they would just have to jump into a rocket and fly but as I grew older I started to realise how hard their job is, and trust me it is really complicated! People like taking risks to complete the things that they like to do, but they believe that God's angels will come and protect them.

Ireland

Irish saving is a different kind of way that we save here, in fact the way Irish people save there is very famous and popular. The trick was one person would discover an idea then tell the world and become popular but they share there ideas equally. The Capital of Ireland is Dublin and is a very popular City. The English name for the city is delivered from the Irish name Dubh Linn meaning the black pool.

The population of Ireland is 4,450,446. WOW that's a lot of people for a small country. The prime minister of Ireland is Enda Kenny. He is the person who persuades people to vote for things that he wants them to vote for. This is all the information I have for you but if you want to learn more go to Qwiki.com.

Well Done 7s Team

I was amazed to see a group of boys arrive back with medals. They were so respectful to the other schools and took pride in all the games they had won. When I heard this exciting news I jumped up and down and swirled around like nothing ese. Then I was asked to say a few words for a movie and I told them that I was proud of them and it was a huge honour for our school to win the rugby sevens and to be the champions of New Zealand. So I would like to say Go Pt England, You Rock!!!!

My Weekend

In the weekend me and my family of five went to the beach on a sunny afternoon. It was a hilarious time that we spent together. We walked around the sand, played volleyball, touch and rugby. It was really fun and I bet if you were there you would of loved it too. We went to a familiar beach called Mission Bay which is very close to St Heliers, where my teacher lives. We were only there for an hour and a half so we made the most of the time that we were given. I Loved it so much and wished we were there longer.

Sebatian Chabal

This is a latest piece of art that I have made and I have based my art on a person named Sebastian Chabal. He plays for a team named France and gets teased by the name of Jesus. He is a very scary and very bulky rugby player and isn't afraid of anyone. SO CHECK IT OUT!!
